Infamous, reclusive biographer whose books sell five copies or less looking for transcriptionist to work for $15 an hour. Part time, project-to-project basis.
Transcribe interviews from digital files for book/website projects. Must be fast and accurate. Work mostly from home.
Knowledge of vintage country/blues/soul music and/or popular culture/cult films a plus, but not essential.
Knowledge of ExpressScribe software/Olympus RS27 foot pedal (or their equivalent) a plus.
May lead to other opportunities.
Work will get credited in the book/on the site.
Entertaining material to work with. Sense of humor a plus. Not for the easily offended.
Must be in/nearby Portland, OR.
