Available: A part-time position on our medical staff is immediately available. Our business is primarily centered around patient care with a strong emphasis on patient-staff relations. We are looking for an experienced, friendly, energetic, detail-oriented person who will be able to maintain a cheerful countenance while performing critical job duties in a fast-paced environment.
Necessary Occupational Traits:
Maintain a friendly and professional attitude while interacting with patients and staff at all times.
Be attentive to detail and sensitive to patient, staff, and business needs. Have an ability to exercise good judgement, multi-task, and take direction well. Be well organized and possess good listening and communication skills.
Job Summary (not all inclusive):
General- Prepare exam rooms for appointments, stock supplies, contribute to cleanliness and organization of the clinic and waiting area, accurately obtain and record patients vitals, and enter/update required medical record information.
Patient Care Administration- Administer injections, handle all bio-hazardous materials in accordance to OSHA guidelines.
Patient Care Correspondence- Accurately relay medical information between provider and patients via a phone call in accordance to HIPPA. Confirm, and schedule new/return patient appointments as needed.
Qualifications :
Be currently/actively certified, registered, or credentialed as a Medical Assistant with at least six months of post-educational experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
Possess moderate to advanced computer skills.
Familiarity with electronic medical records.
Strong basic math skills.
Be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Position Offered:
This is a part time position (with a potential to work in to full time) expect to work around 24-30 hours per week.
