Essential Duties
Perform and assist in prevention maintenance of truck and trailers. Greases and lubricates parts and equipment; replaces and repairs tires; changes oils and filters; adjust brakes and performs major and minor repairs.
Identifies and documents defects and performance related deficiencies; completes inspection sheets to inform other mechanics of problems, progress and parts used; assist other mechanics in the completion of work activities; cleans and organizes fleet repair shop.
Knowledge in replacing clutches, rear ends adjust valves, replace injectors, brakes, air systems, electrical wiring
Some welding skills preferable
Basic computer skills
