Currently seeking motivated individuals to join a wood products company as a Wood Products Treater Technician. Ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, be computer proficient, multi-task, be a self-starter and have superior oral and written communication skills.
Employee must obtain Department of Agriculture Pesticide License during the first 180 days of employment; employer to take care of associated cost. Room for advancement.
Job duties include the following:
- Work in teams to move untreated wood from raw inventory through the treatment plant
- Monitor daily chemical inventory levels
- Mix chemical solutions
- Perform preventive maintenance inspection/tasks
- Perform quality control checks/tasks as required
- Operate forklift
- Additional production duties as required by the process driven treating schedule
Days and Hours: Day, Swing, Graveyard or Relief shift - 40 hours per week with occasional weekend overtime and projects.
Wage starting at $16.00 + depending on experience
