Mid-Level Structural Engineer
Devco Engineering, Inc. is seeking a full-time mid-level structural engineer in our Corvallis, Oregon office.
Requirements/Skills:
A BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering and PE, or ability to obtain PE within 6 months, is required. Applicants should have a firm understanding of the fundamentals of structural mechanics. The ideal candidate will have experience in wood, concrete, steel, masonry, cold-formed steel and seismic design. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have practical construction experience whether professional or personal.
Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be responsible for individual projects from start to finish including: defining scope of work, corresponding with clients on issues and options, designing structures and elements & components, coordinating design and drafting staff for production of construction drawings, and assisting clients during construction.
