The Senior Data Scientist will join our Core Insights team, which focuses on innovative solutions to healthcare-related business problems by going beyond traditional methods to glean unique insights. We’re looking for a self-motivated Data Scientist who can independently analyze data, develop methodologies, and socialize understandings of the healthcare space based on the resulting predictive systems for both internal and external clients. Primary Responsibilities: + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as customers and internal IT teams) to understand business needs and to create analysis methodologies, processes, and tools. + Monitor implemented solutions and adjust with changes in the market space. + Support both internal and external inquiries related to analysis results. + Provide recommendations based on the results to facilitate business strategy. + Ensure quality control to evaluate the accuracy of insights generated. Core Responsibilities: + Collaborate with Core Insights and IT groups to transform and prepare data for analysis. + Demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and a sense of urgency when completing work. + Excellent analytical and assessments skills. + Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. + Strong ability to translate data driving insights into both tactical and strategic guidance. What do you have? + Heavy experience in SQL required + Experience with Alteryx preferred + Experience using an analytical language such as Python or SAS required + 3+ years’ relevant experience. + Knowledge of database operations such as those found in relational database query languages such as SQL. + Master’s degree or international equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar analytical fields. + 3+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred + Interest in creating consistent methodologies and automation to track changes + Based in the US; able to work remotely from home + To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status. Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education and experience stated above.
