The Dishwasher is the person most responsible for making sure that guest health is protected by always using the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant. Although the Dishwasher rarely serves guests directly, the work done by the Dishwasher is critical to every guest and the people who directly serve guests.

Qualifications:

Reliable transportation

Available to work flexible hours that include early mornings, weekend and holiday

Ability to work in a hot, 90 degree, wet area.

Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.

Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work at a pace consistent with changing business volume and demands

Ability to learn quickly

Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed

Ability to work around, handle, operate, and control hot equipment and products in a safe manner

Ability to work effectively within a team.

Ability to lift heavy objects (trash cans, dirty dish containers, clean dishes) up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Ability to use of hands and arms continuously

Ability to bend, reach, stoop and twist continuously

Ability to obtain Food Handlers card

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

Works with the necessary urgency to get the job done quickly to ensure a smooth shift so that all customers have a great dining experience

Have a service attitude.

Ensures the proper operation of cleaning equipment to provide customers and co-workers with properly sanitized dishes and equipment.

Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.

Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.

Ensures all areas of the restaurant are stocked with clean dishware.

Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.

Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.

Helps load and unload supplies and product.

Performs other duties as assigned.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Open Monday-Sunday 6:00am-2:00pm, closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving only.
