The City of Keizer Public Works Department is hiring for a Municipal Utility Worker I position in the Parks Division.
Employees in this position perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and operation of the City’s parks, including grounds, buildings, playground equipment, athletic courts and fields, irrigation systems, greenways, creeks, and wetlands. They operate and maintain City-owned splash fountains under the supervision of the Division Manager, including the operation of relevant software and control systems. The full-time 2-week schedule consists of eight 9-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift with every other Friday off. Potential weekend hours required. Performs on-call duty on a rotational basis.
