Friendly, outgoing dental assistant wanted for a small restorative practice.
The position is part time with hours around 24/ week.
Prefer EFDA, but not mandatory.
Computer skills and knowledge of dental software is required.
Looking for a self starter who is a quick learner, someone who does not need to be told what to do after learning the position.
We are a small office, you will be the only dental assistant.
Above average restorative assisting skills preferred.
Strong infection control is a must.
You should be able to communicate clearly, chat, interact positively, empathize, and put patients at ease.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to chair side assisting, ordering supplies, cleaning the operatories, sterilization of instruments, weekly sterilizer monitoring, charting, and office clean up.
Plenty of time is available during the week to meet these requirements.
Some lab duties such as pouring up models, making bleach trays, and some night guards as needed.
