Fast-paced, non-corporate, mixed animal veterinary practice in Silverton, OR in search of a skilled vet tech/assistant for part to full time position. The right candidate will be motivated, energetic, compassionate, mature, teachable and able to maintain a professional and positive attitude in sad and stressful situations. They will also exude joie de vivre and bonhomie.
Job description includes (but is not limited to) client communication, admitting pets for exams and surgeries, performing dental prophies, assisting with anesthesia, prepping for surgical procedures, caring for in-patients and boarders, and championing the human-animal bond.
