Department: Construction
Reports To: Construction Foreman
Status: Full Time/Hourly
Responsibilities:
The safe operation of company owned cranes under general supervision
Daily & Monthly maintenance and inspections
Assembly and disassembly of cranes for transport
Understand and follow all industry recognized signals and rigging practices
Ensure project safety rules and environmental regulations are followed at all times.
Qualifications:
2+ years previous crane operating experience, preferably on heavy civil construction projects including bridges, highway, transit and rail
Pile driving experience a plus
NCCCO Certified for Lattice Boom Cranes and Telescopic Boom Cranes
Proven communication, organizational and time management skills
Ability to access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
Ability to travel and relocate as required
Valid driver s license
Ability to operate other various construction equipment is a major plus, other equipment includes excavators, forklifts, manlifts, back-hoes, dozers, graders, etc.

Must possess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Reliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Dedicated and hard working
Applicant if hired will become a member of our construction crew, it should not be expected that crane operation will be full time. We need applicants that are willing to work in all aspects of our construction crews while they are not needed in the crane, this include operation of other equipment mentioned above, carpentry work, and general labor.
