Marketing Assistant
Location: Silverton, OR
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Position Overview
The marketing assistant works within the Moonstone Hotel Properties marketing department to help promote a wide variety of amenities and activities. This position works out of the Oregon Garden Resort located in Silverton, Oregon.
Moonstone Hotel Properties is seeking an energetic, organized and motivated individual with an interest in traditional and digital marketing. This position assists in creating, producing and distributing promotional materials; manages the social media presence, website content and e-newsletters; tracks public relations coverage, social media analytics and sponsorship materials; and more. This position requires someone who is willing to work occasional weekends and nights, as determined by the public events schedule. Employee must be comfortable talking in front of groups, and attending networking and community meetings.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
High School diploma required - Associate/Bachelor degree preferred.
Experience in marketing or marketing-related field.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Design skills are a plus.
Basic computer skills, phone etiquette and networking skills are required.
