A Sr. SEM Specialist is characterized by constant proactivity, thoroughness, helpfulness, and reliability in SEM work and as a leader.

A Sr. SEM Specialist is responsible for managing all paid search campaigns for individual clients on Google, Facebook, and Bing as well as other search and display marketing engines. They will effectively manage their clients budget and with the client and the other Marketing Teams in order to maximize ROI, Drive Traffic, and customers to the clients site.

A Sr. SEM Specialist is expected to maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices, address client concerns in addition to managing their assigned client load, and complete their responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.

A Sr. SEM Specialist will be required to have outstanding industry and analytics knowledge as well as outstanding communication and organizational skills to be able to direct a small number of unique VIP SEM campaigns. They will also be expected to maintain a client book of $100,000 or more.

Sr. SEM Specialist will be responsible for being a resources for, educating, and helping train Jr. SEM Specialist. They will also take a great focus in handling at-risk clients, developing the department processes, conducting training, and performing administrative tasks. They report directly to the SEM Team Manager who will help them continue to progress their skills and the team as a whole.

- Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google, Facebook and Bing

- Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition

- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing

- Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics)

- Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments

- Apparent interest in SEM and investment in the continual improvement of Dealer Spike and its offerings

Responsibilities:

- Reviewing and analyzing client and competitor ads for areas that can be improved and adjustments that can be made to ad-spend.

- Keyword analysis to identify keywords where there is potential for increased visibility to target customers.

- Managing campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies of clients campaigns

- Tracking, reporting and analyzing website analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) initiatives and campaigns

- Executing tests, collecting and analyzing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns

- Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns

- Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization

- Research and analyze competitor advertising links

- Advanced analytical analysis of Google Analytics, Adwords, Search Console

- Writing powerful calls-to-action ads to draw users to the client's site

- Preparing monthly detailed campaign overview and strategy reports

- Continually reselling value of services rendered to dealerships

- Keeping updated on SEM strategies, guidelines, and best practices.

- Coordinating and reviewing assignments made to remote workers

Sr. SEM Specialist Responsibility:

- Run daily pod stand-up meetings

- Participate in SEM department planning meetings

- Required to educate (train and retrain) pod members including client interactions and SEM work.

- Be a constant guide for pod members on how they can improve themselves and their work

- Provide constant feedback to pod members via QA, in-person observation, and during training sessions

- Nurture a positive attitude and culture of continual learning and sharing within the team

- Will take point within the team for researching and implementing new SEM practices while building documentation

- Will take the lead on at-risk and retention situations for their pod and taking the initiative to propose solutions for resolving the escalation

- Will maintain a book of $100,000

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Required Education and Experience

- Degree Preferred

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills via various platforms, email, Skype, phone, video.

- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills

- Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems

- Ability to work within a team and independently

- Any combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills to perform the work

- 1-2 years experience as SEM Specialist 1 or equivalent experience

Preferred Education and Experience

- Experience in working a fast-paced office environment.

- Experience using google docs and Microsoft excel.

- Experience working with IT and creative staff.

- Experience in maintaining communications between offices, management across local areas, nationwide and international.

- Experience in Google Search Console,Google Analytics,Google AdWords Keyword Planner

- Experience performing SEM personally or professionally
