We are looking for a highly qualified support specialist for our medical records team within our growing medical-professional office. Your duties will include checking in medical records, requesting diagnostics, sending records to physicians both physically and electronically, daily communication with doctors/insurance adjusters/attorney offices, and other administrative tasks. We are a pseudo-medical office that handles the professional coordination of schedules for 100+ physicians for Independent Medical Exams. This fast-paced office needs someone that is fully functional with constant change and busyness. Our records department processes approximately 700+ charts a month.
The training for this position will be approximately 4-6 months before feeling fully confident and competent in the role.

Knowledge of workers compensation procedures is a plus.
We need a well-rounded individual that can wear many hats. If you do NOT know how to use basic office machines nor are well versed in Microsoft Office, please do NOT apply. You will be half of a team of two in our records department. You will work closely with the other person and also constantly coordinating/interacting with doctors and fellow staff members.
