The right candidate will have at least one year of prior experience as a recruiter, or in human resources handling recruitment and selection, including conducting interviews, new hire paperwork, and on-boarding.

The Employment Specialist/Client Relations Specialist is responsible for handling recruiting, job placement, and client relations, working with clients in various industries. This position is involved in ensuring all processes, human resources best practices, employment laws, etc. are being followed, and that all documentation is being processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with our clients to assist with filling their staffing needs

• Recruiting for top talent including sourcing, interviewing and reference checking

• Create and post jobs online to attract top talent, create advertisements, etc.

• Ensure client requisitions are completed in a timely manner

• Conduct in person, phone or Skype interviews

• Coach applicants on interviewing tips, resume writing and work-place etiquette

• Consult and support clients as needed in regards to employment issues, employment laws, etc.

• Administer pre-employment assessment testing including, background, drug screen, skills testing and more

• Maintain timely communication with candidates, employees and clients

• Update and manage company’s applicant and employee database

• Update and maintain company social media sites with current job postings and announcements

• Attend job fairs, recruiting and hiring events, in-house, and by community partners (as needed)

• Assist in preparing and executing recruiting strategies with the team

• Continually be involved in networking and sourcing

• Partner with other staff for event planning activities

• Back-up support to administrative and reception staff (as needed)

• Perform other HR Generalist duties, such as employment references, wage verification, unemployment, workers’ comp, and more

Hours are Monday through Friday, and some weekends and evenings are required during our busy time, mainly during the summer months.
