Beautiful Quiet Complex in Center of City
We are seeking a resident manager for a 32-unit 55 & older apartment property in Salem, Oregon.
This position requires the property manager to live on-site. Compensation includes a 2-bedroom apartment a carport space. This is a live-in position for the supervision and management of the property, and requires the ability to work with people, keep good records and supervise the property.
We are looking for a individual who is outgoing and observant. The position is NOT suitable for one person with a full-time job elsewhere. A background check, credit check will be run. Position available September 1st, 2020.
Applicants must be very organized, have excellent communication skills, and be detail oriented. Previous apartment management experience is of interest but not required. Duties include:
Greet prospective residents and provide information on apartment inquiries
Be available to show vacant units and tour the property
Handle tenant requests, issues and complaints with diplomacy
Issue late rent payment notices
Inspect property grounds & parking area daily
Prepare work orders and follow-up with maintenance
Assess and act accordingly in emergency situations
Enforce rules and regulations of community
Perform other related duties as assigned
Compensation varies dependent on skills and maintenance duties.
