MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Professional Property Management Group is seeking a team player with a
strong work ethic that offers attention to detail, strong communication skills, and
excellent follow through.
Position Overview:
The maintenance tech is responsible for overseeing the physical aspects
of the community and ensuring that maintenance requests are completed
correctly and quickly. Assists in maintaining a proper inventory of supplies and
tools sufficient for turning units. Must provide excellent customer service to
existing and prospective tenants.
Job Duties:
Strong communication skills needed
Excellent customer service needed.
General Carpentry desired.
HVAC knowledge preferred.
Appliance Repair knowledge desired.
Inspect and maintain all building components regularly.
Assist, when necessary, in scheduling and reviewing apartment turnover
process.
Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment.
Answer emergency calls and provide "on call" support on a rotation basis.
Maintain the shop and storage areas in a clean, orderly and secure manner.
Requirements:
Position requires that individual has a background in
areas of maintenance and repair for same or similar residential buildings.
Must be able to work weekends
Must have a good history of dependability and job performance.
Must have experience in record keeping, good penmanship, and filing reports.
Must have a basic set of hand tools for use in performing routine job duties.
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel
Must pass background and drug/alcohol testing
Compensation: Hourly plus commission
Rent Discount: 20% off monthly rent if you live onsite, following 90 days of employment.
Insurance: Covered for employee after 60 days of employment.
