Property Manager wanted at locally owned Property Management Company.

We are seeking a full-time residential property manager (license in Oregon Real Estate/Property Management preferred). The ideal candidate would be an energetic self-starter who enjoys working with others in a team setting, highly organized, professional, and have good communication skills. This position requires general knowledge of all property management duties and operations. Property Manager is responsible for supervision of a set of properties and vendors to provide outstanding customer service to the residents, maintain excellent curb appeal, provide well-timed and proactive property maintenance, safeguard the good financial health and stability of the property, confirm timely compliance with all government and property program requirements, and complete all required paperwork and reports on time.

Responsibilities:

Manage effective communication with clients, tenants and staff including phone calls, texts, and emails that exemplifies our company’s values.

Help create and promote a friendly and professional office environment by displaying exemplary customer service in all aspects of the position.

Self-starter and can work independently with limited direction and follow an agreed upon daily schedule.

Oversee property maintenance requirements and requests.

Coordinate with clients, tenants, service providers, and staff.

Conduct regular inspections and follow up with maintenance and lease compliance requirements.

Conduct and review tenant move-in and move-out condition reports and handle security deposit accounting.

Address resident concerns courteously, professionally, and in a timely manner.

Advertise properties for rent.

Monitor and review tenant applications and screening reports.

Prepare lease documents for current and future tenants.

Manage rent collections and tenancy compliance.

Showing of properties with current procedures.

Requirements:

Education: High School diploma (or equivalent).

Licenses: OR Real Estate License (preferred).

Experience: Two (2) years or more experience in Property Management.

In depth knowledge of Oregon State Landlord Tenant Law and Fair Housing Laws

Familiar with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Property Management software (AppFolio) desired.

Work a regular schedule that may require working some weekends and holidays.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

References: Full business references, proven work history, and background check required.
