PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITY:
Receive and display frozen and refrigerated products. Maintain the sales floor to maximize sales. Provide relief cashiering.
PRIMARY PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
Maintain frozen/deli/dairy department to supervisor's standard. Merchandise on sales floor to be properly displayed to enhance customer satisfaction.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Prepare and display merchandise to company specifications.
Be prepared to relief cashier in order to enhance customers' experience.
Become knowledgeable about merchandise in order to assist customers.
This is a very physically demanding and detail oriented position.
Must be able and willing to work in a frozen and refrigerated environment.
This has the potential to quickly become a full-time position.
EXPERIENCE: The goal is to expand sales at Stayton Grocery Outlet by highlighting the many quality products that we carry. Helpful experience would be a background of working with highly perishable product. Successful selling in a retail environment is a plus.
Must be available to work evenings and weekends. This position has the potential to rapidly become full time.
