The Seasonal Part-time Center Associate is responsible for delivering world-class customer service to all retail customers. He/She receives and processes packages for courier shipment and Amazon Returns. The ideal Center Associate candidate will have retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma/GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, and will be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet customers in a friendly manner; determine customer needs while looking for opportunities to exceed expectations.
Deliver exceptional customer service through customer engagement and quality product delivery.
Be knowledgeable of products and services offered and promote them to customers.
Ability to learn /operate software packages.
Receive, sort and place mail in mailboxes accurately.
Receive and process packages for shipping, including lifting and weighting packages and generating labels. This may require retrieving packages from customer's vehicle when requested.
General housekeeping duties.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma
Customer service/ sales experience highly desirable.
Point of Sale ("POS") and computer experience highly desirable.
Ability to learn new software highly desirable.
Language Skills:
Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain harmonious relationships with customers and associates in person and over the phone.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual is a plus.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Manual hand dexterity required to operate POS, copiers and binding machinery, packaging tools, and complete customer paperwork.
This position is for 20 hours a week. This position does have the possibility of going permanent depending on the employees work during this holiday season. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply! Prefer open availability, students with flexible school schedules are welcome to apply.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $13.25 to $13.75 /hour including biweekly and monthly bonuses.
