Oregon Fruit Products manufactures and sells a wide variety of products made from Oregon Berries and many other types of fruits from the US and around the world. Oregon Fruit Products is currently seeking a person in Inside Sales who can support our mission of bringing fruit to life, while demonstrating our values as an organization in our brand new facility. Our ideal candidate will have high energy and a passion for representing Oregon Fruit Products. We are seeking an individual that has interest in learning the world of Fruit and helping us promote with current customers and expanding our business across the brewing, retail and food service channels.
The Inside Sales position is responsible and focused on contributing toward growing sales and meeting sales budgets with a primary focus on the fermentation channel. This role is designed for those who have sales experience and have demonstrated the ability to increase contact with house accounts, prospect accounts and re-engage past accounts. They will support national sales directors with channel specific analytics and sales reporting.
On a daily basis you can expect to find yourself:
1. Grow sales in assigned house account territory
2. Develop sales leads and follow up to close sales and manage designated customers with a focus on growing sales in current account base
3. Prospects new and existing clients utilizing the telephone, web, direct mail, tradeshows, customer visits, or other local opportunities
4. Sample Orders-Input and Tracking( updating spreadsheet monthly)
Wondering if you are qualified? Here is what we are looking for:
Bachelors (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent in Sales or Marketing or other related fields; OR two to three years related experience in inside or outside sales
Two to three years of food and beverage service with focus on alcoholic beverage sales or equivalent combination of education and experience
Requires an OLCC servers permit and Oregon Food Handlers card (must obtain both within first 90 days on the job)
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to effectively present information to top management
Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheets, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use scheduling software
Proficient with Office Suite including: Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
