Inside Sales Account Manager (Bilingual Spanish/English preferred)

This is a customer service position, always focusing on understanding and meeting or exceeding the customers needs. Much of the contact is via telephone and therefore requires excellent phone skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of vocal enthusiasm and politeness. You will need to multitask and manage your priorities, with the customer always first. In this position you will play a fundamental role in achieving sales and revenue growth objectives through support of our Sales team.

Gather customer requirements and work with internal teams to create and deliver quotations.

Plan, manage, coordinate and follow up on customer telephone calls, e-mails, and appointments on behalf of staff as directed.

Act as a point of contact between internal clients, including engineers, management, customer service, administration and outside clients.

Manage Purchase Orders (PO) through completion.

Work with engineers to generate Bills of Material (BOM) as needed.

Provide complete, accurate and timely updates, forecasts and, sales status reports.

Ensure accurate receipt of customer orders and seamless handoff.

Monitor orders to ensure customer expectations for delivery are communicated and met.

Investigate and resolve customer issues regarding product and/or service delivery; communicate status to sales and/or customer on a timely basis.

Oversee customer cases and act as a point of contact for the Parts/Service Desk as directed.

Provide support for meetings in order to track progress on project milestones and to track and resolve issues.

Manage aspects of project work and all or a portion of the overall execution of projects (as directed by team lead and/or sales department).

Maintain an organized customer database, as well as put together project files in a timely manner.

Responsible for following the current policies and procedures for tracking your activities in our sales database.

Education and Experience

Two or four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience, two years of Sales and

Customer Service experience, Microsoft Office, previous experience with Sales software or ERP a plus. Mechanical or Equipment knowledge helpful.

General Office Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be an experienced user of the Microsoft Office Suite and have experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret quotes and reports. Ability to correspond, effectively present information, and respond to questions from employees, management, vendors, and customers. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regularly requires sitting, standing and moving about our large manufacturing facility. Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.
