We are seeking an IT Junior Analyst to join our Corporate Office located in Salem, Oregon. This position will be a hybrid position between an IT junior analyst and IT associate. The primary duties in this role will revolve around customer support and various ongoing IT projects. This individual will perform a variety of complex information technology support duties to ensure our end users can work effectively and efficiently. Assist and train others in the operation of computer hardware and software in order to achieve desired results. Utilize computer equipment, software and diagnostic tools to perform a broad range of customer assistance, equipment maintenance and repair. Update supervisor on status of projects and technical issues that may arise.

Essential Job Functions:

Accept and process tickets on our support dashboard.

Company-wide desktop and mobile phone support with systems troubleshooting and technology equipment/software ordering.

Manage contracts, vendors and service-providers as assigned.

Prep, distribute, track, and support employee inventory including computers, printers, software, mobile & VoIP phones.

Add and maintain our employee database, including intranet login, email, security, inventory, and telephone accounts.

Design and perform equipment and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Support a wide range of software including but not limited to JIVE, Office 365, Adobe, GSuite.

As a member of the IT team, be available for planned after-hours work and/or be available to respond for staff and network emergencies.

Prepare technical and non-technical documentation and presentations.

Conduct research on software and systems products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.

Recommend and draft policies and procedures related to the functioning of Morrow Equipment Companies IT environment.

Participates in meetings and committees.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Associates Degree in a related field of study, entry/mid-level certifications, or equivalent experience in an office environment.

Career oriented focus in IT-field developments, especially in how they relate to continuation and enhancement of MEC’s mission.

Experience working with Windows 10, Office 365, Apple products, and remote desktop support.

Basic experience working with SQL, Adobe Creative Suite, VPN, and Active Directory.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to write accurate, concise technical documentation with the ability to translate technical information into understandable language for all staff.

Ability to work on problems in a methodical and careful manner.

Additional Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Fortinet, UniFi, Github, Jive, Verizon MDM, Ancoris, GoToAssist, VMware.

Bilingual.

SQL knowledge.
