We are currently looking for¦
An experienced Carpenter to perform the construction, alteration, repair, and modification of buildings and structures. Experience with renovation, new residential construction and/or remodels are a must. In depth experience with dry rot repair is necessary. We are looking to hire a Carpenter with skills to carry out a broad range of general assignments. The work is expected to be technically sound and adherence to established standards. Experience with the use of all hand and power tools and equipment associated with the carpentry trade is required.
Required Qualification
Must have 3 years or more of experience in general carpentry work
Reliable transportation to various job sites
Outstanding attitude and teamwork skills
Ability to occasionally lift items that weigh as much as l00 pounds and frequently carry 50 pound items
Must be able to read, write and speak English to have the skills needed to comprehend blueprints and building plans and communicate effectively with customers
Working Conditions
Carpenters must have the willingness to work within the environment associated with the position's assigned job site. They must be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather. Carpenters are required to walk, stand and work while bending and stooping for extended periods. They must have the willingness to work from ladders, scaffolds, and other above ground locations. Carpenters must have the willingness to work in an environment containing dust, odor, and high levels of noise.
