A locally owned grass seed farm, located in Yamhill County, is looking to hire a full-time, year round Journeyman Mechanic. This is a shop/field technician position that comes with the use of a service vehicle, as well as a competitive wage and benefits package.
Job requirements:
-2 years of hands on experience
-Working knowledge of engines, brake, fuel, hydraulic and electrical systems
-Proficient in welding/fabrication
-Basic computer skills
-Must provide own tools
-Must have a valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications:
-A professional/technical degree
The successful candidate will be able to diagnose, disassemble and assemble, overhaul, repair, rebuild, and adjust trucks, tractors and farm equipment under minimal supervision.
Wage is dependent on experience, bonus structure and competitive benefits package to include: paid vacation, bonus, health insurance, paid sick leave and 401K.
