JB Instant Lawn, a Leader in the Green Industry, is a family owned company which has specialized in providing beautiful lawns since 1968. JB farms sod and seed in Oregon and Washington along with a wholesale nursery in Washington
We are looking for an energetic individual to fill our full-time shuttle driver/load setup position in Silverton, Oregon. This position is within our harvest crew team with great benefits including health, 401k and PTO benefits offering a salary range of $15-17/hour depending upon experience. This position is available for immediate hire.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Shuttle trailers to/from our fields
Load and unload trucks using a forklift
Tarp and strap loads
Perform accurate load counts
Communicate and be a team player
Assist the farm manager in all other various farm duties as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
Must have farm endorsement to transport pallets in a safe and efficient manner.
Bi-lingual a plus.
Must have and maintain a current acceptable DMV record and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be thorough and detail oriented.
Must have knowledge and experience of safely operating forklifts
Must have strong written and verbal English communication skills
Must be able to work additional hours and weekends as required.
Must be an extremely safety conscious individual.
Able to safely lift 60 lbs .regularly.
