Project Manager- Virtual
Our client is seeking a Project Manager. This Project is to migrate from existing SQL Server data warehouse to new Azure Synapse Analytics data warehouse (rebuild). The team will create data sources in Azure Synapse to build Power BI reports and dashboards. The environment will include the following technology stack: Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Power BI.
Responsibilities and Duties
Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
Qualifications
S/4 HANA, SQL Server)
Able to communicate with Stakeholders
Time management: manage multiple timelines from different programs; manage different resources time availability windows
Problem-solving: different technologies involved; evaluate right one for which use case; resolve road-blocks and time conflicts
Should be technologically savvy: have familiarity working with ERP, CRM, ETL, data mapping/conversion, reporting, etc.
Majority of work will be performed by a consulting vendor
