RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Allentown, PA that has long-term contract opening for a SCADA Communications Engineer to assist with our automation efforts. The contractor will be responsible for assisting in the development, configuration and ongoing support of various SCADA communication devices.
Responsibilities include:
Configuration of head end and field RTU
Configuration of cellular modem equipment
Configuration of head end SCADA unit
Troubleshooting of communication issues
REQUIREMENTS:
Fundamental knowledge of the following protocols:
7-layer OSI model
DNP3
TCP/IP
ModbModbus
Serial communications
PowerShell
Python
C/C
