Position Description:
The Dishwasher/Prep Cook is responsible for assisting Chef to preparing menu items and ensuring all restaurant equipment, utensils and kitchen work areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. The position requires the individual to take direction from the Unit Manager/Chef to accomplish designated tasks to ensure safety and health standards are being followed specific to the state.
Job Duties:
Uses various techniques in accordance with state health code to clean and sanitize all dining and cooking wares
Interacts daily with students/clients providing excellent customer service
Washes and sanitizes work tables, walls, refrigerators, and cutting boards
Refills detergents and sanitizer solutions in dishwashing machine when needed
Maintains cleanliness and basic maintenance of kitchen spaces and equipment
Assists in putting away food order according to health code regulations

Skills/Experience:
Minimum one-year dishwashing experience
Food preparation experience preferred
