Parts Picker:
(8am - 5pm)
-Pulls parts from the appropriate bins and delivers to staging area for loading
-Operates a forklift or other lift equipment to transport parts in and about warehouse
-Stages loads and loads trucks according to the delivery schedule and performs a final check off of parts loaded
-Sorts and places parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence
-Responds to sales staff inquiries immediately by receiving order, pulling product and loading it into the customer vehicle.
-Verifies in-stock position on product for inside sales staff.
-Checks in defective parts and enters into computer system
-Ensures cores and scrap are placed in proper staging areas
Delivery Driver:
(7am - 4pm)
-Ensures safe operations of vehicle at all times and follows the rules of the road
-Maintains a professional appearance and a professional demeanor in carrying out daily duties
-Performs pre-trip and post-trip maintenance on assigned truck prior to leaving or closing for the day. Reports any maintenance problems to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up
-Plans daily schedule based on customers needs by reviewing daily paperwork, e.g., manifest, route sheets, previous VCR, etc. provided by the Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher
-Safely loads and unloads parts to be delivered using the proper resources and tools so as not to cause damage to the parts or vehicle
-Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers and performs cursory inspection of all parts to be delivered
-Ensures that assigned paperwork is completed legibly, neatly, accurately, and completely and returned to Transportation Supervisor or Dispatcher for processing. Ensures DOT Driver Log is completed
-Presents bills and receipts, and collect payments for parts delivered or loaded
-Uses and maintains the tools and equipment found on delivery vehicles, such as pallet jacks, two-wheeled carts, securing straps
-Ensures that parts pick-up and delivery meet the specified quality standard as expressed in our operations, notify dispatcher if in doubt or part is deemed un serviceable.
-Reports any problems/issues with customers to immediate supervisor and/or dispatcher immediately, or before close of business each day if necessary
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVES LICENSE FOR BOTH POSITIONS
