Saucon Valley Country Club is currently hiring part- and full-time Groundskeepers. The Groundskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible to assist in landscaping and maintenance on the golf courses and ancillary facilities.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, clean, and organize work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
Mow greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
General maintenance required to maintain championship level golf course conditioning
Operate utility vehicles and riding equipment for hauling material, mowing and removing debris
Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work area
Golf Course maintenance, weeding and debris clean up
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms
The employee is often required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls
They will occasionally be required to balance, stoop, twist upper body, kneel and climb
Moderate exposure to cold, heat, rain, working outdoors, gasoline, vibration, pollen, dust
Work extended hours during golf and holiday season with overtime available
Experience Requirements
Must possess the ability to learn and work independently as well as within a team
Must be dependable
