Our goal of controlled growth currently leads us to seek a full-time Commercial HVAC Install Foreman
SUMMARY:
Commercial HVAC Construction Foreman work with and oversee, numerous systems, parts and procedures. A successful candidate will have five or more years of demonstrable experience. Our designers and draftsmen provide detailed prints that our foremen use to get the work done on time and according to plan.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee commercial installation of duct, air handlers, chillers, roof top units, and other HVAC related equipment
Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines for large VRF units including brazing and soldering
Responsible for daily management of manpower, material, and forecasting of assigned projects
Accountable for communication between field, office, and general contractors
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
Ability to perform all trade related math calculations for proper installation of equipment
Ability to read and understand blueprints, specification and submittal sheets
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach and lift heavy objects
Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations
Follow and enforce IT Landes guidelines as set forth in the company handbook
Operating knowledge of HVAC systems and efficient use of hand tools
Strong understanding of installation and operating control systems
EDUCATION & RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
Five or more years of experience specific to the commercial HVAC industry.
EPA/OSHA certifications beneficial but not required
