The classes will be held in the Eastern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center. A valid PA identification card must be submitted to allow access to this facility.
Class Details: Monday - Friday evenings with flexible options available to accommodate working adults.
Hands-on instruction includes how to operate a manual mill, lathe, grinder and Computer Numeric Controls - CNC Training. Additional instruction on blueprint reading and math skills included, as well as resume and job placement assistance.
In order to qualify for this training, you must successful pass an aptitude test (By Appointment Only) and you must bring the following with you to your testing appointment:
-Completed application packet (send us your email address to request)
-2 letters of reference
-Copy of high school diploma, GED Certificate, or college transcripts
- Complete a 90-minute assessment (verbal, math, mechanical aptitude)
