Operations Scheduler - like a Project Controls Scheduler but NOT working on capital projects. Working in the distribution ops teams - lots of very small, quick jobs - reacting to customer requests etc. Less than 1 mil
Use P6 but don't need to be a whizz on it. Excel skills must be good
Scheduling background
They are scheduling work management, labor resources etc for small distribution jobs done by local crews.
Develop work plans for Lineman. Projects under 1 Million.
Hybrid - Geographic - Based out of the Bloomsburg Area = 2/3 times a week.
Schedulers create schedules, work with Engineer / Internal/ / Field supervisors / admin / logistics - Orchestrator of bringing everybody together
Experience more important than a degree
Use p6 - Don't use it was Project Controls Specialist would use it - Can be very good in Excel
