Job Description
This person will perform general clerical duties in support of the multiple programs within a non-profit organization. Work involves typing, filing, answering phones, greeting visitors, ordering and distributing office supplies, posting and sorting mail, and assisting in processing a variety of documents. This position will be located in Chambersburg, PA.
Essential Functions:
Answer multi-line telephone and direct calls to appropriate staff
File documents efficiently into inter-office charts
Assemble new files for clientele
Process necessary paperwork for clientele
Update/edit forms as necessary
Assist programs with statistical tracking of data
Types reports, forms, correspondence, and other material from rough draft to completion. Proofreads for typographical and grammatical accuracy.
Make follow-up/reminder telephone calls for appointments and send reminder letters
Order/distribute office supplies
Post outgoing mail. Sort and distribute incoming mail
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements: (Education, Experience, etc.)
High School Diploma/GED
Six months as an AA and completion of a business curriculum
Any combination of relevant education and experience in an administrative/clerical capacity
Required Licenses, Certificates or Knowledge:
Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License and acceptable MVR
Knowledge of community resources
Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Drug and alcohol screening clearance
Automobile
Act 33 and Act 34 Clearances
FBI Clearance
Social Security Card
Immigration and Naturalization (I-9) Clearance
Good oral and written communication skills
