TRUCK & TRAILER MECHANIC
Service Tire Truck Centers, (STTC) a thriving mechanical business and leading provider of truck tires and services to the transportation industry since 1955 with 50 + locations in 8 states is offering an opportunity for a top quality Truck &Trailer Mechanic at our Hagerstown, MD location.
Candidates must have Mechanical experience and be able to:
ï¼ Troubleshoot ABS systems
ï¼ Trace and repair electrical systems
ï¼ Perform annual DOT inspections / FHWA
ï¼ Perform brake service and wheel end repairs
Job Requirements:
Must have your own basic hand tools to perform the above listed task
Must be dependable and take pride in workmanship
CDL preferred but not required
Minimum of 2 years' experience working specifically on trailers or trucks - will train the right candidate
Knowledge of truck/trailer systems such as air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems as well as general knowledge of mechanical operation and body repair
Our employees enjoy consistent Monday-Friday schedules with little to no nights or weekends.
Pre-placement drug screen and physical required.
