Responsible for delivering operational insights through data collection, analysis, and reporting. Provide historical, current, and predictive views of our mortgage business operations.

EXPECTATIONS
  • Takes point in creating, designing, and implementing new analytics and reporting designed to accurately measure our operational efficiency and increase capacity in our Processing, Underwriting and Closing teams.
  • Builds and maintains strong cross-function relationships to effectively influence the achievements of business results.
  • Partner with front-line workers and managers across our operations teams to identify areas of opportunity for improvements and to support new initiatives.
  • Leads projects & data initiatives to gather key metrics for our operations teams and suggest data structures to make analysis and reporting on operational metrics faster and easier.
  • Writes advanced SQL queries that analyze source data to understand relationships within the data.
  • Plays a key role in improving our operational capacity models.
  • Creates, maintains, and continually enhances reports to track performance across multiple portfolios.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION - REQUIRED
  • BS - Bachelor of Sciences

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • 5+ years’ experience in processing or underwriting roles in a mortgage company
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with SQL (5+ years of near daily use)
  • Demonstrated expertise in presenting analytic findings to others via Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, or other business intelligence tools
  • Strong written, verbal and listening communications at all levels of the customer, business and IT organizations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and must be a team player
  • Strong attention to detail, fact-checking, and triangulating data sources to ensure your analyses are accurate.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Must be highly motivated, a self-starter and able to thrive in a fast paced, fluid environment

Must have hands-on experience with deployment of MES. Experience with implementation of Electronic Batch Records eBRs, workflows, electronic logbooks, MES System Administration and Hyper-care support activities.
