You are applying for a seasonal, part-time position for the fuel dock at the Erie Yacht Club. This is an excellent summer job that is flexible and accommodating to school schedules. The hours range from 8am until sunset, seven days a week (including holidays), from May to October.
Primary job duties include:
-Assisting boats arriving and departing from the docks
-Provide services including holding tank pump outs, fueling, and sale of merchandise
-Operating a point of sale system and cash register
-Checking in and directing visiting boats and boaters
-Maintaining the general cleanliness of the harbor and property
-Operating a utility cart
-Interacting with members and staff in a courteous and polite manner
Job requirements:
-Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
-Must be comfortable working near the water
-Must be able to provide working papers if necessary
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must be friendly and personable
-Upon hiring, must complete boaters safety course within 30 days
