Job Title: NX Trainer (W2 only, No C2C) Location: Erie, PA Duration: Contract to Hire Salary: $55-$60/hour, depending on experience
Job Description: The purpose of this position is to act in the role of NX Mentor for the companies Frieght Product Definition Organization. The intent of the role is to establish best practices and methodologies focused on elevating the overall capabilities and efficiency of the organization. The role will require an NX Modeling Software subject matter expert that is able to demonstrate best practices and modeling methodologies to individuals or groups of individuals within the PD Organization. The role would also involve solving the NX/CAD issues and documenting the established methodologies and/or best practices as agreed upon by the PD Management team. The interactions with the PD team members would be both in person and virtual and span several time zones as team members in the US, India, and Brazil.
Services:
Mentor Individuals or Groups of Individuals within the Product Definition team on NX Best Practices, Modeling Techniques, etc.
Troubleshoot and solve issues that arise in relation to NX Models, Drawings, etc.
Assist/Instruct Product Definition drafters in the use of UG NX software especially new features and preferred tools/approaches
Train new employees on established practices and processes
Support Software Upgrade Activities, Testing, Troubleshooting, and Training
Identify modeling methods, tools, and procedures that would benefit from standardization as a preferred approach across the product definition team
Deliverables:
Create/Document processes or methodologies that are recognized as best practices or company preferred methods
These documents must be created in a timely manner once the process or method is established
Document solutions to common issues or problems and communicate these solutions as required
Work with the internal process team to store this information in an established location where the team has access
Requirements: The candidate must have expert working knowledge of the Siemens suite of PLM tools being utilized at the company and receive any necessary training to align with future upgrade plans as required. Any required training shall be provided by the company. The applications and the current or future versions of software being utilized include:
