Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer Location: Fort Washington, PA Responsibilities:
Design, architect, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.
Researches the solution alternates, coordinates the technical discussions, and socializes the recommendations based on project requirements.
Consults with project teams, end-users, and key stakeholders to identify the application requirements, business risks.
Maintain and improve existing infrastructure, e.g., autoscaling, new services, optimizations, etc.
Help build a highly automated infrastructure.
Articulate solutions on various topics, e.g., cloud migrations, enterprise implementation, private and hybrid clouds, etc.
Use continuous integration and deployment (CI/CID) tools like Jenkins, Travis, Bamboo, Nexus, etc.
Maintain and improve existing build and deployment processing using CI/CD tools.
Requirements:
A total of 10+ years IT experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud architecture, operations, or administration.
Experience in the design and deployment of dynamically scalable fault-tolerant, reliable, and highly available applications on AWS.
Experience in the selection of appropriate AWS services for designing and deploying the applications.
Well versed in leveraging following some or more AWS Services: Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Kinesis, Lambda, Aurora, Dynamo DB, API Gateway, SQS, CloudFormation
Demonstrated experience with the next generation AWS security stack.
Demonstrated Experience working with AWS to provide highly-available, secure, and reliable services that take advantage of AWS’s catalog of pre-existing solutions where possible.
Experience with project management, specifically managing multiple, concurrent projects.
Practical production experience using Terraform. (A Must).
Apply knowledge of scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.
