Build and Operate cloud based data services for DoD cloud initiatives.
Assist with identifying and planning potential new cloud services, features, and capabilities.
Performs day-to-day administration of the database server including installation, maintenance, and configuration
Serve as overall subject matter expert on MariaDB/MySQL Server DBA technology and market capabilities/trends.
Performs troubleshooting and resolution management
Collaborate with internal and external parties to transform high-level technical objectives into comprehensive technical requirements.
Formulate detailed network, storage, and compute design specifications for stable and secure computing operations in a dynamic cloud based environment.
Make recommendations for improvements to security, scalability, manageability, and performance across a wide variety of network, storage, and compute technologies.

6+ years of experience designing and developing documentation on database designs (i.e., stored procedures, configuration files, tables, views, and functions)
Mid to senior level MariaDB DBA experience in a cloud environment
Security+ (Or equivalent IA cert) and computing environment certification
(i.e. MCSA - SQL Server, etc.)Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Performing SQL performance tuning across applications
Experience in MySQL and Microsoft Azure
Database Solution Architecture and Design
Experience automating routine administrative tasks desired
Understanding of network, storage, server, and application technologies
Strong knowledge of automation concepts, tools, and scripting languages
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Active Secret Security clearance or higher required
