Job Description
We are looking for a talented, work-oriented in house detailer/drafter for an immediate opening. This is a first-shift position with some overtime opportunities. Longs Welding pays vacation, holidays and part of health and dental insurance.
Some of the requirements/responsibilities are as follows:
AutoCAD detailing of structural and miscellaneous metals (stairs, railings, etc.)
Coordinate and track progress of projects from day of order to final stamped Engineered drawings;
Ensure that detailing work is consistent with company standards;
Review and check all shop and E-drawings upon receipt from Engineer;
Prepare all drawings and parts/shipping lists for production and scheduler.
Must be able to commute to and from our location.
Some overtime may be required.
Salaried
1-3 years of AutoCAD experience is required.
Experience with drafting/detailing of structural and misc. metals preferred.
