Responsible for the execution of quality controlpolicies and procedures to identify, control and mitigate operational risk forcore operations processes.

Manages a team of quality analysts who auditwork stream adherence and performance, analyze and escalate findings, and driverelated issue remediation.

Partners with Business Line and risk leaders toproactively assess risk and control coverage following the enterprise qualitypolicy and designs new processes or tools to improve compliance and the levelof service provided.

Leads and oversees a staff responsible forexecuting assessments of emerging risks and process failures related tobusiness processes, and related coverage adequacy for core Operations workstream(s).

Identifies, analyzes, and escalates issues,considering risk appetite and residual risks; collaborating with business linemanagement on corrective action plans.

Designs, develops, pilots, and implements asuite of detective and preventive controls to care for regulatory compliance,policy and procedure adherence, and optimization of operations functions.

Works with variousinternal business groups, partners, and functional area managers to ensureadequate compliance policies are in place.

Provides reporting from executive level reviewto deep dive root cause reports to offer senior managers insight into risks andopportunities.

Provides leadership and direction to qualityanalyst team, including staffing, performance management, prioritizing,guidance and training.

Manages programs of work across many teams andfunctions, within and/or possibly outside of Operational Controls.

Proactively interacts with Compliance and Riskpartners to assess processes end to end, ensuring adequate compliance policiesare in place.

In addition to core deliverables, incumbentleads Functional Areas and CRO engagements toward a comprehensive ControlEnvironment which programmatically identifies coverage opportunities, gaps, andrisks and controls required to mitigate.

Considerable knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for payments, card services and quality control

In-depth understanding and practical application of applicable laws and regulations (Reg E, MC/Visa Regulations for Issuers, BSA/AML, TCPA)

Excellent organizational, managerial and project management skills

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

Experienced at managing managers

Prepaid experience

Risk/fraud/compliance certification or pursuing either a CAMS, CFCS, CIA or CRCM
