DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe Delivery Center Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the Public Safety Delivery Center (PSDC) reports to the Commonwealth Chief Technology Officer to provide direction and guidance on technology services specific to the agencies supported within the specific Delivery Center. As such, the Delivery Center CTO is responsible for planning, directing, evaluating, and controlling the technology and operations of staff engaged in managed compute, network and data management, and systems management. The Delivery Center CTO's role is to align the technology use within the Delivery Center to the vision, strategy, and roadmap established by the Commonwealth's CIO, CTO and the Delivery Center CIO for the following agencies: Department of Corrections, Pennsylvania Parole Board, (including the Sex Offender Assessment Board and the Office of Victim Advocacy), Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Justice Network, and Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. The position oversees all information technology systems in this grouping – from the simplest, to the most complex – including all interfaces and exchanges required to deliver a successful solution to the agency customer. Work performed by the Delivery Center CTO has broad operational and administrative impact upon services and programs administered by the Department of Corrections, Pennsylvania Parole Board, Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Justice Network and Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 3one-hour lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Nine years of professional information technology experience that includes three years in a managerial capacity and a bachelor’s degree; or

Thirteen years of professional information technology experience that includes three years in a managerial capacity; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years in managerial capacity.

Necessary Special Requirement:

Certain positions require certifications or other special requirements that will be identified based on the position’s specific needs, such as the ITIL Foundations certification, and must be obtained within a period of time after hire, as designated by the hiring manager.
