Email Me Similar JobsEmail Me This JobThe Registered Nurse is an essential member of the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute health care team who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating the total care of patients. Through collaboration with all members of the treatment team, the Registered Nurse will address any patient and family concerns related to the identified illness and disease process. The Registered Nurse is self-directed, empowered and accountable for the direct supervision of all team members delivering care to assigned patients. Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license required. One year Psychiatric nursing preferred. Able to verbalize understanding of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation. Has knowledge and understanding of physical and emotional disease processes, clinical nursing skills, and administration of medications. Part-time, day/evening shift position available.
