Job Description:
This position will involve troubleshooting hardware& software issues in an office/professional environment. Both phone & desk-side support will be needed.
Carrying out hardware upgrades
Install, test, and/or upgrade desktop software
Hardware installation
Network troubleshooting
Establishing, configuring, and troubleshooting user accounts
Skills REQUIRED
Must have professional presence and ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers
Experience with current PC hardware, Windows ,Office, & common PC applications, and basic network troubleshooting required. Working knowledge of Windows 2008, 2012 & 2016 Server suggested.
Experience installing and troubleshooting servers and business networks highly desired
Candidate must feel comfortable promoting equipment sales, & Service, etc. Prior sales experience a plus (but not required). Business casual appearance with reliable transportation a MUST!
Education:
Qualified candidates will possess a diploma or associates degree in an Computer/IT related field. (Candidates that don't possess either a diploma or associates degree should have an A+ or MCSE certification).
Experience:
Technicians with MCSE Certification with at least 2yrs field experience minimum. or A+ certified techs with a minimum of 4 yrs field experience and have at least 250 residential/small business computer repair service calls.
