Growing construction company seeking to hire self-driven, traveling Commercial Construction Superintendents to join our team. Position will be responsible for coordinating employees and sub-contractors to ensure projects are on time and within budget. Must have knowledge and ability to self-perform various divisions of work as required.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Project Managers to assure the field is coordinated with the construction plan as developed by the Project Manager and that schedule, cost and quality expectations are met.

Serves as the onsite Safety Lead/ Coordinator providing guidance for safety expectations of the project teams. Responsible for reviewing specific safety plans, periodic safety inspections to each project and develops and leads training in safety.

Coordinates all construction services and activities with subcontractors and vendors and leads subcontractors and team in field activities.

Documents daily project activities.

Assists Project Manager in completing Closeout Phase of Projects, Responsible for monitoring and managing punch lists through construction completion.

Experience and Skills:

Commercial Construction Superintendent: 5+ years (Required)

Ability to manage projects ranging from 500K – 15M

Demonstrated leadership abilities along with an open and willing attitude and eagerness to learn.

Outstanding communication skills verbal and written. Establishes collaborative relationships with internal as well as external stakeholders.

Excellent technical skills, proficient in reading, understanding, and applying blueprints and job specifications as well as safety knowledge and skills.

Proficient computer and technology skills with experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
