RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Project/Program Manager in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania (PA).
Responsibilities include:
Lead existing portfolio management process and track and maintain demand intake backlog to ensure business alignment, planning, approval, and new projects' kick-off
Champion the current execution processes and contribute to the embracement of the processes across the portfolio
Project/Program Manager will lead the project delivery processes for an IT portfolio for low, medium, and large-sized projects
Provide oversight on projects portfolio from initiate to monitor phases and ensuring business objectives are met with a formal project closure
Collaborate with business and IT leadership and provide timely status and progress of the portfolio
Project/Program Manager is accountable for preparing and communicating monthly updates as per PMI standards and in alignment with stakeholders' expectations
Facilitate portfolio risk, issues, actions, decisions (IRAD), and maintain the logs
Collaborate and support IT Leads in creating and maintaining the master portfolio tracker and creating slides for various business meetings for their projects
Track and maintain the resource tracker to support timely staffing needs on all active projects
Mentor PMs and IT Leads on existing processes and train new people to contribute to the overall project management process maturity
Project/Program Manager will participate in stakeholder meetings, share key action items, and escalate risks to leadership as needed
Collaborate with QMS to understand, socialize regulatory needs, and engage the QA team on appropriate projects
REQUIREMENTS:
PMP certification is preferred
10+ years of project management experience within IT with a broader knowledge of portfolio and project management processes and effectively communicating within highly cross-functional teams
Strong background in Healthcare and Life Sciences domain
Excellent ability to champion the processes and highly effective at influencing cross-functional teams
Budgeting and forecasting acumen
Committed to delivering quality results with a focus on execution
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as an individual contributor and as a team
Flexibility to adapt quickly in a fluid environment
