Best Western Plus & Revere Inn and Suites is currently seeking someone to fill our Accountant position. Full time hours.
â¢Enter and balance accounts receivable and payable on a daily basis
â¢Assist with other accounting projects in the office
â¢Audit front desk and restaurant cash drawers
â¢Track deposits made to bank and handle deposit transfers
â¢Assemble financial data for audits
â¢Monitor credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges
â¢Maintain orderly financial filing system
â¢Reconcile department accounts monthly and prepare reports to present to management
â¢Track tax payments and compile information for tax filing
â¢Process payroll on bi-weekly basis; process new hire paperworkIdeal candidate should be proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. Willing to work independently. Some phone answering and message taking needed. Great environment and vacation time after a year.
