PT Intake Coordinator – Marriage Intensives
Elizabethtown, PA
· Talk with couples who are experiencing a crisis in their marriage
· Demonstrate empathy and compassion while listening to their stories (this can be very emotional)
· Introduce them to our Marriage Intensive Program available through The Marriage Hub (House on the Rock Ministries)
· Assess if they are a potential fit for the program using our intake questionnaire
· Discuss the costs and commitments required to participate
· Review scholarship options for couples in financial need – collect information and submit to committee for review
· Communicate with couples via phone, email and/or text
· Make follow up calls to couples who have inquired, but are still deciding if the program is right for them
· Schedule couples who are ready to move forward and collect Credit Card payment
· Document all notes in our CRM program – detailed and accurate notes provide critical information to the couples who lead the Marriage Intensive Retreats.
· PT Position of approximately 10 hours per week. While the position has an “on-call” mentality, there is substantial flexibility in the schedule, but some evening and weekend hours may be needed to accommodate the schedules of couples.
· Training period is completed in our office. After training period – flexible schedule is available with a mix of office and remote work.

The Marriage Intensive Intake Coordinator is a valuable member of the House on the Rock ministry team; helping to fulfill our mission to help couples in crisis by sharing about and signing couples up to attend our Marriage Intensive Retreats. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for the administrative oversight and execution of our “sales” related duties with regards to the Marriage Intensives. No lead generation is required – this is all follow-up with people reaching out to us. This position is a mix of crisis intervention, customer service and inside sales.

· Compassionate: In this role, you will talk to people who are hurting. You need to have good active listening skills and emotional intelligence to work with couples who are in crisis.
· Professional: This position is a mix of intake coordination, crisis intervention, customer service and inside sales. It requires excellent communication skills in writing and over the phone.
· Resilient: One of the hardest aspects of this job is that we can’t help everyone. Sometimes one of the spouses refuses to move forward, or the couple decides that it is not worth the financial investment.
· Organized: You will be responsible for following up on inquiries, taking accurate notes, following up with undecided couples, scheduling, collecting payments, etc. This requires strong organizational skills and good attention to detail.
· Passionate: Must be passionate about preserving marriages and working for a Christian non-profit organization. We are a faith-based ministry and we pray for the couples who contact us and take part in our marriage intensives.
· Flexible: This position offers a flexible schedule. We do expect 1 partial day per week in the office for our staff meeting, but we offer remote work and the ability to set your own start/end time. Because of working with couples, you may need to schedule calls in the evening or over the weekend to accommodate their schedules.
